Air Wax

This project was commisioned by Livestock and Nike for the release of the Air Max 2090 on Air Max Day. The mandate for the project was to create a shoe display that was inspired by the year 2090. If civilization is to make it to the year 2090, fundamental changes must be made in order to address our changning climate; that is why this is a zero waste project. This display is made from soy wax, that can be melted down and re-cast. The elastics can be repurposed and all the molds used were from found objects (except the logo, which was 3d printed with "bioplastics" PLA).
